Here's one thing that is keeping me buzy.
I have been tweeking the temperature, but Its stable now, Thermostat set at 32 C.
Then i place 2 thermometer, 1 outside the eggbox, and 1 inside.
30.5 C measure the temperature in the box. 29.8 C measure the temperature in the egg box.
All is good.
I'm thinkning of adding a small fan inside, as to prevent hotspots & provide more stable temperature.

Albino Western Hognose
so here is the hog, hog, hog...
1.0 Albino Western Hognose

0.1 Red Albino Western Hognose

Tried to feed them today (1st time feeding) & Excellent feeding response.
They were in transit since the early Jan, until a few days back.
I always wanted a Hognose, since last year already.. so I can cross Hognose off my list. ;o)

Look at the eye sockets, mites love that area..
Here is what i did.
clean the entire cage, hide & water dish with lots of soap, dettol & clorox.
Dry them up, then spray PAM. (Provent-a-Mite), while waiting for the treatment to dry-up.
On the Blood, i gave:

On the Blood, i gave:
warm bath for 5 mins.
warm bath with mild soap for 1-2 mins.
warm bath with iodine solution 1-2 mins.
dry them up. i moisten a cotton bud with baby oil, and moisten the area around their eyes. As i suspect the mites love the eye socket area.
then, i place them in their treated enclosure.
After 2-weeks, going to repeat the procedure.
In 4-weeks, the treatment is complete. It will be mite-free.
Will update on how the treatment goes..
