Snakes biting, part of working with a lot of snakes or any animal for that matter is getting bit. Here at
SnakeBytesTV and
BHB we get bit a lot, but the truth is most of our snakes never bite. We want to show you the two major reasons that snakes bite and what we do about it when it happens. Remember snake bites happen, but as long as they are
NOT venomous snakes, there is seldom anything to be freaked out about:)
I keep Pet Snakes which are non-poisonous.
Beginners Pet Snakes, includes Ball Pythons, Corn Snakes, Milk Snakes & King Snakes. They are beginners due to they relative small size less than 6 feet when adults. It wont over power you, and you can relatively handle them alone.
Then come, the Intermediate Pet Snakes, such as Hognose, Boas, Bloods. Boas & Bloods can grow up to 12 feet & they required at least 2 person to handle, cause at adult size, they sure weight alot and there are very powerful constrictors. Hognose on the other hand, are know to give an allergic reaction when it bites to some people.
And lastly, the Expert Pet Snakes, like Burmese Pythons, Reticulated Pythons, African Rock Pythons, Anacondas. These snakes grow more than 20 feet, at such giant length, these snakes have incredible power & weight, they can easily over power 2-3 full grown adult. Respect to those keepers.
